Oats Content Policy

Oats (www.oats.live) is a community platform created by One Oat Foundation Inc. to support young individuals with mental health and soft skills development. To ensure a safe and supportive environment, we have established the following content policy:. By using Oats, you agree to abide by this policy.

1. Encouraging Positive Behavior

Oats is dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive community. We encourage users to:

Be respectful and considerate in their interactions.
Provide constructive feedback and support to others.
Share content that promotes mental health, personal growth, and soft skills development.

2. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are prohibited on Oats:

Harassment and Bullying: Content that harasses, bullies, or threatens others.
Hate Speech: Content that promotes hate or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other characteristics.
Violence and Gore: Content that depicts or incites violence, self-harm, or graphic gore.
Pornography and Nudity: Explicit sexual content or nudity.
Illegal Activities: Content that promotes or depicts illegal activities, including drug use and illegal weapons.
Misleading Information: Content that spreads false or misleading information, including misinformation about health and safety.
Spam: Repetitive, irrelevant, or unsolicited content and advertisements.

3. Personal Privacy and Confidentiality

Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. Do not:

Share personal information (e.g., addresses, phone numbers, email addresses) without consent.
Post content that infringes on others’ privacy or confidentiality.

4. Intellectual Property

Respect intellectual property rights. Do not:

Post content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
Use others’ content without permission or proper attribution.

5. Impersonation and Misrepresentation

Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity. Be honest and transparent in your interactions on Oats.

6. Moderation and Reporting

We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove any content that violates this policy. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our guidelines.

6.2 Reporting Violations

If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it to us at support@oneoat.org. Our moderation team will review and take appropriate action.

7. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this policy may result in:

Removal of the offending content.
Temporary or permanent suspension of the user’s account.
Other actions as deemed necessary to protect the community.

8. Appeals Process

If your content is removed or your account is suspended, you may appeal the decision by contacting us at support@oneoat.org. Please provide relevant details to support your appeal.

9. Changes to Content Policy

We may update this Content Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on Oats and updating the effective date. Your continued use of Oats after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
