Oats Contributor Terms

Thank you for contributing to Oats (www.oats.live), a community platform created by One Oat Foundation Inc. to support young individuals with mental health and soft skills development. These Contributor Terms outline the terms and conditions that apply when you submit content to Oats.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting content to Oats, you agree to be bound by these Contributor Terms, as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not submit content to Oats.

2. Your Content

2.1 Definition of Content

For the purposes of these terms, “Content” includes any text, images, videos, links, or other materials you submit to Oats.

2.2 Ownership of Content

You retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in the Content you submit to Oats. By submitting Content, you represent and warrant that you have the right to do so and that your Content does not violate any third party’s rights, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any applicable laws.

2.3 License to Oats

By submitting Content to Oats, you grant One Oat Foundation Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and perform your Content in connection with Oats and its promotion.

3. Community Guidelines

3.1 Respect and Safety

You agree to follow our community guidelines and use Oats in a respectful and safe manner. You will not submit Content that:

     

      • Harasses, threatens, or discriminates against others.

      • Contains hate speech, nudity, or graphic violence.

      • Promotes illegal activities or is otherwise inappropriate.

    3.2 Accuracy and Honesty

    You agree to submit Content that is accurate and not misleading. You will not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

    4. Moderation and Enforcement

    4.1 Content Moderation

    We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove any Content that violates these Contributor Terms, our community guidelines, or any applicable laws. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for such violations.

    4.2 Reporting Violations

    If you believe any Content on Oats violates these Contributor Terms, please report it to us at support@oneoat.org.

    5. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless One Oat Foundation Inc. and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your Content, your use of Oats, or your violation of these Contributor Terms.

    6. Changes to Contributor Terms

    We may update these Contributor Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new terms on Oats and updating the effective date. Your continued submission of Content after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
