Oats Parental Guidelines

Update: July 25, 2024

Oats (www.oats.live) is a community platform created by One Oat Foundation Inc. to support young individuals with mental health and soft skills development. We recognize the importance of providing a safe and supportive environment for our younger users, particularly those between the ages of 15 and 18. These Parental Guidelines are designed to help parents understand how Oats operates and how they can support their teens’ positive and safe experience on our platform.

1. Overview of Oats

Oats is dedicated to fostering discussions and content that promote mental health and soft skills development. Our focus areas include:

    • Mental Health: Self-care, mindfulness, stress management, emotional well-being, coping strategies, and mental health resources.

    • Soft Skills: Communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, resilience, self-awareness, and personal development.
